Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today arrested former information and broadcasting minister Hasanul Haq Inu in the city’s Uttara area.
A team of DB arrested Inu, also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, from a house located at sector 14 under Uttara West Police Station at around 4pm, said Hafizur Rahman, Officer-
in-Charge of Uttara West Police Station. Several cases were filed against him with different police stations, the OC said.
