Lt Gen (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has been appointed as the new home affairs adviser of the interim government, succeeding Brig Gen (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain.
Following this change, Sakhawat Hossain will now oversee the Textiles and Jute ministry, according to a statement released by the chief adviser’s Press Wing on August 16.
