The issue of Rohingya community from Myanmar and Bangladeshi nationals that fled to Malaysia would be the highlight of a meeting between Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and his Bangladesh counterpart scheduled tomorrow.
Anifah, while stating that nothing much can be said until the meeting with AH Mahmud Ali, admitted that the topic would be ‘a very important one among other agendas’. More than a thousand Myanmar and Bangladesh migrants landed at Langkawi in boats on Sunday, as Thailand rolls out crackdown on human trafficking.
