Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd. (DPDC) has unveiled a new method of online payment system to give exult it’s Clients from all complicity of primitive bill payment systems.
In this connection an agreement has been signed between DPDC and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) on 24 November 2014. All Clients are in Dhaka and Narayangang area of DPDC will able to pay electricity bill through online by all branches of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury Deputy Secretary of DPDC and M Mushfiquir Rahman Senior Executive Vice President of Shahjalal Islami Bank were signed in the agreement in the presences of Managing Director of DPDC Brigadier General Mohammad Nazrul Hasan (Retd) and the Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. Farman R chowdhury.
In the primitive system Money, Time and Labour were wasted. DPDC has started this payment system for the sake of it’s 9.5 Lac Clients. The high officials of the both organizations were present at the ceremony.
