Robi Axiata Ltd will be the title sponsor for the Bangladesh Expo 2013, to be held in London from Tuesday.
The two-day event, organized by UK-based E4Events at West Ham United Hotel & Conference Centre, on Green Street, London, is expected to showcase the best of Bangladesh and help unlock the huge potential of Bangladeshi products in the international market, says a press release.
“Robi stands by its promise to ignite the fire within,” explained Robi Chief Markets Officer, Pradeep Shrivastava, “and our involvement in this expo is in line with our newest theme – Shine Bangladesh.”
Pointing out that the products and services that will be showcased at the fair “are among the best that our country offers and this is a platform for Bangladesh to truly shine in front of an international audience,” he added.
Hundreds of Bangladeshi products will be displayed for visitors at the fair, which is aimed at boosting Bangladesh-UK trade. The product line up will include different categories, including handicrafts, footwear, RMG, tourism, housing, banks, insurance, cosmetics and many others. A special delegation representing the FBCCI, BGMEA and BKMEA are attending the fair. There are facilities for important business meeting and seminars for stakeholders, on the sidelines, during the fair.
The event will close with a gala dinner on the 4th of December, featuring an exciting cultural soiree highlighting prominent features of Bangladesh.
