Robi introduces online airtime recharge service

Leading mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited recently launched a new airtime recharge channel for valued Robi post-paid and pre-paid subscribers.

The 24/7 instant online recharge service, developed in partnership with easy.com,bd,  was inaugurated by Robi Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mahtab Uddin Ahmed in the presence of Robi CEO, Mr. Supun Werasinghe, at the Robi Corporate Office in Gulshan yesterday.

IMG_7616 (Large)Robi post-paid and pre-paid subscribers can simply visit the Robi website (www.robi.com.bd) or go directly to recharge.robi.com.bd to recharge their mobile connection online by using their VISA, Master Card or Dutch-Bangla Bank Nexus credit or debit cards. Users may have to notify their bank to allow online transactions on their debit or credit card. Users who have a personal easy.com.bd account can also use that account to top-up a Robi connection.

The Robi mobile airtime recharge service can be used to recharge any Robi connection. Once the details are filled in and the details submitted the user will receive a unique recharge PIN code on his or her mobile. The user will then have to insert the PIN online to confirm the transaction to make the payment. PINs received are valid for 15 minutes.

On successful bank transaction the indicated top-up amount will be credited to the specified Robi mobile number and the Robi user will be notified of the credited airtime through an SMS.

There are no fees associated with this service and online transactions are completely free. However, new connections will have to be recharged through a scratch card first before being open to accept online recharge transactions.

Robi cannot be held responsible for refunds or for any failed transaction, in which case, users will have to contact their card issuer bank with the transaction details for a refund or transaction clarification.
