Robi Axiata Limited, the second largest mobile operator in terms of revenue, recently introduced the Train Tracker service, an innovative and convenient value added service for customers to track their desired train.
Using the service Robi customers will be able to learn of train location, time of train departure, next stoppage and the movement schedule of their desired train through SMS.
Bangladesh Railway passengers can track the information and location of their desired train from their mobile phone anytime from anywhere and plan their trip accordingly. The service will reduce uncertain platform waiting time, extra hassles and help Robi customers manage their valuable time efficiently. The train travelling experience in Bangladesh will become smoother for Robi customers.
To avail the service subscribers have to type TR<space>Train No and then send the SMS to 16318. The service fee is BDT 4 per SMS (excluding VAT).
The train number can be found in the original printed Train ticket or on Robi corporate website www.robi.com.bd
