Robi settles insurance claim

Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited has settled subscriber’s insurance claim in Chittagong. Md. Sohel and Keshab Chandra received a cheque from Robi Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Mahtabuddin Ahmed recently.

20140526_133240The cheque was handed over at Robi’s Walk-in-Centre at Agrabad, Chittagong. Md Sohel, the nominee of Robi user Anwara Begum of Chandgaon, Chittagong, and Keshab Chandra, nominee of Robi user Biswajit Malakar of Madarbari, Chittagong were present to accept their cheques for BDT 50,000 each.

Robi introduced the life insurance facility for prepaid subscribers last year. Subscribers can register for this service by dialing *1216*1# or by meeting a Milvik agent directly. On registration, a fixed amount is deposited in the user’s registered account each month, subject to a minimum of BDT 250 talk time. All prepaid subscribers between the ages of 18 and 60 can avail the scheme.
