Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organized “Managers’ Conference-2015” on 11th April 2015 at a Hotel in the Capital. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by its Managing Director Farman R Chowdhury while the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. A. K. Azad was present as Chief Guest.
The meeting evaluated the performance of the last year and adopted necessary strategies and action plan to achieve the target for the remaining time of the year. 16 Branch Managers are given Crest and 28 others are given Letter of Appreciation for their outstanding performance in the previous year.
As a Chief Guest Mr. A. K. Azad said, political turmoil has ransacked the entire business environment of the country inception of the New Year. It is impossible to recover these lose that has been occurred due to political unrest. At present the political situation is going to be normal, so this is the congenial time for reducing loses by working hard. Irregularities and Default Loans are the main impediment of the economic growth of the country. Therefore Mr. A. K. Azad urged to the bankers to work with honesty and integrity to make their business investment safe.
Among others the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Alhaj Mohammad Younus and Alhaj Md. Abdul Barek, Directors Alhaj Akkasuddin Mollah, Alhaj Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Alhaj Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Independent Director Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director Mr. Masihul Huq Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Setaur Rahman were present in the meeting. Executives and Head of different Divisional Head of the Head Office and Branch Managers of 93 branches were also present on the occasion.
