CSE trains stock market professionals in Sylhet
Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has organised a 2 day training program on "Fundamental and Technical Analysis" in its Sylhet office recently for the broker representatives and investors. A total of 55 participants from 20 broker offices attended in the training.
Mr. Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed, former President of CSE who contriubed a lot in developing stock market introduction in Sylhet region inaugurated the training as Chief Guest. In his remarks he said that CSE from its inception underscored investors awareness and financial literacy in

BEZA officials visit Sri City in Andhra
An eight member team of senior officials from the Bngladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) visited Sri City multi-product SEZ and industrial park in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
In June last year, Bangladesh government signed a memorandum of understanding with India for establishing two Economic Zones EZs) in Mongla and Bheramara for Indian investors. India

Farmers Bank takes BB to court
The High Court has stayed for four months a Bangladesh Bank (BB) decision to fine the Farmers Bank on charges of irregularities. The HC bench of Justice Tariqul Halim and Justice Bhishmadeb Chakraborty on 11 January issued the order after hearing a writ petition filed by the Farmers Bank, challenging the central bank decision.
In the same day, the Farmers Bank’s lawyer Anupam Biswas informedBangladesh Bank about the court decision through a letter, said authorities of the Farmers Bank. Bangladesh Bank deputy governor SK Sur Chowdhury on Monday confirmed this to Prothom Alo.
