Robi contributes to Govt Labour Welfare Fund

Leading mobile phone operator Robi has recently contributed to the Government’s Labour Welfare Fund (Shramik Kalyan Tahabil) for the profit made by the company in 2014. The contribution was made from Robi’s Workers’ Profit Participation Fund (WPPF). India’s cotton exports to rise

India, the world’s biggest cotton producer, is likely to export 6.8 million bales in the 2015/16 season, up 18 percent from a year ago as demand from Asia is expected to improve, a senior government official told reporters on Tuesday. Over the last few weeks, the body count of intolerance has been unbearably high in Bangladesh. It started when an Italian aid worker named Cesare Tavella was shot to death in the capital, Dhaka, at the end of September. Navy chief visits India
