BIAC signs collaboration agreement with KLRCA
Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) Mr. Muhammad A. Rumee Ali and Director of Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) Datuk Sandro Rajoo signed a Collaboration Agreement on behalf of their respective organizations and Ms. Rammit Kaur Charan Singh, Head of Legal Services of Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) exchanged the Agreement with BIAC’s CEO in the office of KLRCA, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 13 May, 2016. This Collaboration Agreement is intended to explore areas for co-operation in respect of the use of facilities and services of both the centres on alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Islami Bank Board meeting held
A meeting of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Board Room of Islami Bank Tower with Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of the Bank in the cahir. Directors along with Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank were present in the meeting.
The meeting approved first quarterly unaudited financial statement 2016 and expressed its satisfaction while evaluating the performance of the Bank over the success & progress achieved so far.

IBBL MD receives Asian Banker Award
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited received the Asian Banker CEO Leadership Achievement Award-2016. Under his leadership, the bank was recognised as the best Managed Bank in Bangladesh. The award was given at the Asian Banker Summit held at the JW Marriott Hanoi, Vietnam on May 10, 2016. The Asian Banker, a Singapore based strategic banking intelligence provider, conferred the award for demonstrating vision, charecter and skill in leading the people in the institution to achieve the best performance in the industry last three years.
