State Minister for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak on Tuesday said that all the university will come to specialized lab area while the first step is held by Jahangirnagar University (JU). He said this at the inaugurating ceremony of the Software Testing and Quality Assurance Lab (STQAL) at the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) in the University. The standard software project would be examined at StQAL that has been set up with the finance of the government.

A certificate course on Chinese language learning will be launched at Rajshahi University (RU) from next month of this year. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organized a training on ‘Financial Audit, Performance Assessment and Fiduciary & Safeguards Compliance Assessment of Union Parishad-FY: 2014-2015 for external auditors of Upazila Parishads under LGSP-II where Additional Secretary, LGD & NPD, LGSP-2 Ashoke Madhab Roy was present as the Chief Guest while ICAB President Masih Malik Chowdhury FCA seen speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the training at its auditorium on 13 September 2015.

The admission tests at Jahangirnagar University for the first year honors courses under 2015-16 sessions will be started on October 25 and continue till November 5. The decision was made at an emergency meeting of academic council of the university Thursday morning said JU deputy registrar (education) Muhammad Ali. He also said that only Arts and Humanities faculty will take in department based examination and other faculties also take faculty based.
