‘Digital Creative Industry Forum’ kicks off
The British Council and National Skills Development Council Secretariat (NSDC-S) organised a ‘Digital Creative Industry Forum’ at the NSDC Secretariat premises on Thursday, 16 June, 2016.
The Forum brought together some of the leading professionals in the field of Digital Creatives to discuss the opportunities and challenges the sector has in ensuring a talent pipeline and ongoing professionalisation of the sector. The importance of the sector is recognised by Government of Bangladesh, and this initial meeting explored the new role of Industry Skills

US urges NATO allies to do more against IS
US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter on Wednesday urged NATO allies to do more to help the US-led anti-Islamic State coalition finish the job in Iraq and Syria and destroy the jihadi group.
NATO defence ministers earlier agreed to extend training of Iraqi troops from Jordan to Iraq itself and to consider deploying AWACS surveillance aircraft.
“I would like to see NATO do more,” Carter told reporters after ministers met at the alliance HQ in Brussels.
“I believe there is still more NATO can do to hasten the destruction of ISIL,” he said, using another name for IS.
UK Security Exchange inks deal with Canopy
