Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) is running online banking service in all of its 427 branches by using Real-time Centralized Online Banking Software invented by its own human resources.
It is the largest online banking network in the private sector of Bangladesh. Continuing to this and to provide modern and safe banking service, Pubali Bank has inaugurated Disaster Recovery Center. Hafiz Ahmed 
Mazumder,Chairman, Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd. was present as Chief Guest. Director of the Bank Mrs. Suraiya Rahman formally inaugurated the center. Directors’ Moniruddin Ahmed, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, Mrs. Rumana Sharif and Azizur Rahman were present as Special Guests while Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the function.
Additional Managing Director M. A. Halim Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury, GM & Chief Technical Officer Mohammad Ali, General Managers of Head Office and Senior Executives of Pubali Bank were also present on the occasion.
This modern and heavy duty Disaster Recovery Center has been set up to preserve data of all documents centrally. The center will prevent any possible risk or cyber crime and work as alternative data preserver which will keep the Real-time Centralized Online Banking activities of the bank dynamic.
In his speech Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder said that Pubali Bank is committed to its valued customers to provide the best & modern banking services in fastest possible time. As a part for providing better services & clients’ increasing demand Pubali Bank Limited is running online banking service in all of its 427 branches. He hoped through Online Banking Pubali Bank can provide better customer service throughtout the country.
In his speech Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury said, “Pubali Bank Limited gives priority to provide opportunity and advantage to the customers through application of modern technologies in this age of globalization. The bank has the largest Online Banking network of the country by using Software made by own human resources.” He hoped the bank will be an international standard one with its extended branches in fastest possible time.
