Four ambulance drivers staying at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital have been fined Tk 1.15 lakh for not getting any ambulance documents.
The raid was carried out by Executive Magistrate Sampati Roy of the Deputy Commissioner’s Mobile Court on Saturday. He was assisted at the time by BRTA Inspector Iqbal Mahmud.
According to the verdict, the operation was carried out as there were more allegations against them including converting the microbus into an ambulance, not having a license, and tax evasion.
