The 43rd Annual General Meeting of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday, 12 April 2016 with Mr. Golam Mainuddin, Chairman, British American Tobacco Bangladesh, in the chair.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting and unanimously passed the Accounts 
for the year ended 31 December 2015, Directors’ Report and the Auditor’s Report. The shareholders also approved the proposed dividend of Tk 55 per share.
In 2015, the Company contributed Tk 11,051 crore as value added tax, supplementary duty and other taxes to the national exchequer. This contribution makes BAT Bangladesh as the highest tax payer in the country.
