Bangladesh ended March with 61.28 million active internet subscribers, up from 58.31 million internet subscribers at the end of February.
The country’s mobile internet base reached 58.04 million in March, up from 55.51 million in the previous month, according to figures from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The fixed-line internet user base also increased to 3.11 million in March, from 2.66 million in February, while the number of WiMAX subscribers fell to 131,000 in March, from 136,000 in the previous month.
