The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited was held on 10th June 2015 at RAOWA Convention Centre in Dhaka. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mr. A.K. Azad presided over the meeting. The meeting approved 10 percent Cash dividend for the shareholders for the year of 2014 and the Directors reported and audited Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account for the year ended on December 31, 2014 were unanimously approved by the AGM.
In the meeting the Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. Mr. A. K. Azad, Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury and Shareholders were took part in the discussion.
The Chairman of the bank Mr. A. K. Azad said, all the index of the bank including deposit, investment, profit are in a stable position even severe competition in the banking sector and core recession prevailing in the world economy. The banking activities of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. have been moderated with the consequences of modern information technology. As a result the overall performance of the bank has reached in a satisfactory position, he added. A number of shareholders participated in the discussion and expressed satisfaction at the overall performance of the Bank.

Towhidur Rahman, Alhaj Anwer Hossain Khan, Alhaj Syed Nurul Arefeen, Alhaj Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Alhaj Mohiuddin Ahmed, Alhaj Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Alhaj Abdul Halim, Alhaj Mohammed Faruque, Alhaj Md. Harun Miah, Independent Director Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury, Member of Shahriah Council Mawlana Yusuf Abdul Majid, Additional Managing Director Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Setaur Rahman and General Shareholders were present in the meeting. The program was conducted by Mr. Md. Abul Basher, VP and Deputy Company Secretary of the Bank.
