Interim govt led by Dr Yunus sworn in
The new interim government of Bangladesh, led by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has been officially sworn in by President Mohammed Shahabuddin. The ceremony took place at Bangabhaban on Thursday evening, starting at 9:00 pm.
Dr. Yunus arrived at Bangabhaban at approximately 8:25 pm, where he was warmly greeted by a large crowd that had gathered outside. Enthusiastic supporters, numbering in the thousands, had been assembling since the afternoon, cheering and chanting slogans in anticipation of his arrival.

Interim govt to be sworn in at 8:30 tonight
The interim government, led by Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus, is set to take the oath of office tonight at around 8:00 pm.
The Cabinet Division has completed all necessary preparations for the ceremony. Vehicles have been arranged to transport officials from their residences to Bangabhaban, where the oath-taking will occur.
President Mohammad Shahabuddin will first administer the oath to the chief adviser, Dr. Yunus, followed by the swearing-in of the cabinet members.

Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus emphasized the importance of restoring law and order in the country and urged that no harm be inflicted on anyone. "Place your trust in me," he appealed, referring to the mass uprising led by students and the public as the "second independence." He stated, "We must safeguard this newfound independence."
Dr. Yunus arrived in Dhaka from Paris today, Thursday, at approximately 2:10 pm. Upon his arrival at the airport, he was greeted by Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman and other officials.
Jamaat holds rally in Jibannagar after 15 years
