AIBL Bogra zone holds business review meeting

The Business Review Meeting of Bogra Zone of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) was held at Hotel Castle Soad, Bogra on 19 November, 2020. SMEs’ contribution to industrial employment over 80pc

More than 98 percent of the total business enterprises in Bangladesh are SMEs and their contribution is 80 to 85 percent in the country’s industrial employment, according to a research. Price fall drives stocks down

Stocks today witnessed downward trend due mainly to price fall in large-cap securities. DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went down by 41.70 points or 0.85 per cent to settle at 4,845. Two other indices also closed lower. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, lost 15.43 points to finish at 1,687 and the DSE Shariah Index fell 6.95 points to close at 1,123.
