A 2(two) days long ‘Annual Managers’ Conference-2016’ of Pubali Bank Ltd. participated by all 444 Branch Managers, Regional Managers & Sr. Executives of Head Office was held at Hotel Ocean Paradise, Cox’s Bazar recently to motivate them to increase Bank’s business by rendering better services. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, Chairman, Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd. graced the Conference as Chief Guest while Managing Director Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury presided over the Conference.

EPZs may get trade unions; draft law approved
The cabinet today gave the final approval to the draft of the ‘The Bangladesh EPZ Labour Law, 2016’ keeping a provision for constituting labour organisations in the Export Processing Zones (EPZs) as well as forming a permanent wage board for their workers.
The approval came at the regular weekly meeting of the Cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat today with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, reports UNB.
