Bangladesh ranked 1st in terms of free Covid-19 vaccines: Health Minster

In a survey conducted by the World HealthOrganization, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek Swapan said, “Bangladesh is the first country to receive a free vaccine.” It has a market valuation of more than twenty thousand crores of rupees. At the same time, we have been able to vaccinate around 98 per cent of the entire target group in the country, which is approximately 75 per cent of the overall population. Corona did not employ any kind of magic to keep the virus at bay. We have been able to maintain control over Corona today because of the effective leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The health minister said this at a meeting with the people of the Manikganj district on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which was held at the Shuvro Center in Garpara of the Mainikganj Sadar Upazila on Wednesday at noon.

“We were able to keep the corona under control, allowing us to celebrate Eid in the country with relative ease today,” the Minister said. The economy of the nation is humming.
