Bank Asia opened two agent banking outlets in Faridpur district on 3rd June, 2015 in a move to financial inclusion of rural people.
Mr. Md. Abul Quasem, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank inaugurated the outlets at Nowpara Bazar of Madhukhali and Mominkhar Hat of Sadar Upazila of the district. Mr. Md Arfan Ali, Deputy Managing Director (CBO-SMR) of Bank Asia and Mr. Quazi Mortuza Ali, Vice President & Head of Alternative Delivery Channel (ADC) were, among others, present during opening of the outlets.
Bank Asia being a pioneer in agent banking in Bangladesh has been expanding agent banking services all over Bangladesh as a part of financial inclusion of unbanked population.
