In order to accelerate sustainable growth in export oriented textile and leather sectors a participation agreement has been signed between Bangladesh Bank and Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) on “Green Transformation Fund” on 01st December 2016 at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall, Bangladesh Bank (BB), Dhaka.
In the presence of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mr. S. K. Sur Chowdhury, the General 
Manager of Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Manoj Kumar Biswas and the Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. (SJIBL) Mr. Farman R Chowdhury signed on the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others the High officials of Bangladesh Bank, the Deputy Managing Director of SJIBL Mr. M. Akhter Hossain and Head of Corporate Division Mr. Md. Monzurul Alam Chowdhury were also present in the agreement signing ceremony.
