BSMRSTU master-roll employees start sit-in program

The muster-roll employees of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) held a sit-in program in front of the university administrative building on Monday seeking fulfillment of their two points demand.

Among the two demands one is the payment of their 13 months’ due salary and another is making their job permanent. They started the sit-in program only a day after the new vice-chancellor Prof Dr. A.Q.M Mahbub joined.

Sheikh Nahid, Bahadur Khan and Ripon gazi remarked about their demands at the sit-in protest. Demonstrators said that they are protesting from December 2019 but the authority has not taken any visible steps to end their miseries.

“We will continue our protest until the newly appointed vice chancellor assures us to solve our problems”- demonstrators said.

Dr. A.Q.M Mahbub, the vice-chancellor of BSMRSTU said that he doesn’t get any information about their demonstration so far.

Mentionable that, BAMRSTU has a total 176 master-roll employee.
