BWCCI Immediate Past President Sangita Ahmed has been awarded the status of Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the Ministry 
of Industries, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the year 2015-16 in the Business Organization category.
She has been working for women’s economic empowerment for the past 15 years.
