Xi to upgrade ties with Bangladesh

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s groundbreaking visit to Bangladesh this week is expected to raise bilateral relations to new heights and result in investment to boost Bangladesh’s economic growth. The World Bank today approved $213 million for two projects in Bangladesh to improve weather and climate information services and to strengthen college education provided through affiliates of the National University. Qatar Charity (QC) has completed development projects to provide basic services and livelihoods to the needy in Datyabara in Bangladesh.
