Mahbub Morshed new BSS chief editor

The government today appointed Mahbub Morshed as the new Managing Director and Chief Editor of the state-run national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) on a two-year contract. Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard this afternoon. It said other conditions of this appointment will be fixed on the basis of the contract. "The notification will come into immediate effect," the notification read.
