
CSE 30 Index revised
The CSE 30 Index has been revised on the basis of performance of the CSE listed companies. The new index will be effective from 20 November 2016. CSE 30 Index is reviewed twice in a year.
The new companies which have been included are Aftab Automobiles Limited, Apex Foods Limited, Apex Tannery Limited, BSRM Steels Limited, Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Ltd., Khulna Power Company Limited, Navana CNG Limited, Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd., Shasha Denims Ltd., Unique Hotel & Resorts Limited. DSE opens week down as major sectors dip
Dhaka Stock exchange (DSE) began the week on Sunday slightly down as the major sectors plunged further into falling trend while Chittagong Stock exchange witnessed upward trend.
All the major sectors including textile and insurance were down on the day while cement, food and allied, fuel and power, engineering and pharmaceutical and chemical issues managed some gains.

The Board of Directors of Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd (BBS ) announced its price sensitive information in a meeting held recently at the Corporate Head Office of the Company. The meeting approved the audited financial statement for the year ended 30the June' 2016.

Stocks suffer from extensive price fall
Stock market suffered extensive price fall on Monday as investors were selling shares for profit booking. The falling price pulled the price indices down at both Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
At DSE, only 93 securities finished higher when 183 issues across the board incurred loss. Similarly, 143 issues closed lower at CSE against only 74 advancing securities. Like previous trading sessions, majority of the issues from large-cap group suffered loss.
