Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) today (Monday) inaugurated it’s official facebook page to reach the investors easily. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mazid inaugurated the page at a press conference held in CSE Dhaka office. Managing Director of CSE Wali-Ul-Maroof Matin was also present at the press conference.
CSE Chairman addressing the press said “There is no chance to ignore technology now. Our life became more technology based due to cell phone and internet connection through this device. Now we are acting faster. We want to supply information to the investor faster. We want to encourage our investors to invest in share market through this page.”
Managing Director of CSE Wali-Ul-Maroof Matin said “We will ensure dissemination of correct information for the investors in this page. This page will act as a medium of direct communication with the investor. This page will contain specialists’ views, their writings and day to day update. So this will not be only a official page, it will be a online place where people will talk about capital market.”
Stakeholders of the sector are hopeful that the initiative will bring CSE closer to the investors.
After logging into the facebook if any one searches for bangladeshcse, will get the CSE official page. If anyone wants to receive update from the page will have to like the page.
CSE Director Mohammad Kahirul Anam Chowdhury, Chief Regulatory Officer Ahmed Dawood and Dhaka Office In-charge Md. Ghulam Faruque were also present at the ceremony.
