Cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor said that the agreement of cultural exchange with Thailand will soon be signed.
The minister made the statement at a joint press conference on Wednesday, held after his meeting with Vira Rojpoj Chararat, who is leading the eight-member Thai delegation.
Cultural secretary Ranjit Kumar Biswas and Thai cultural affairs ministry Inspector General Surirat Aunhson were present during the discussion.
The Thai delegation witnessed Bengali New Year programme at Ramna Batmul in the capital and took part in ‘Mongal Shobajatra’ organized by Art Institute of Dhaka University.
Later, the delegation members’ visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32, and placed wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman there.
