Free Facebook access for Robi subscribers

Robi Axiata Limited, the leading mobile phone operator, in partnership with Facebook Inc. has launched 0.facebook.com for free browsing of Facebook for its valued subscribers. Robi has also launched a daily Facebook pack at BDT 4 for subscribers who wish to browse on regular mobile site of Facebook or the Facebook app. Robi subscribers who use a data enabled handset can avail these products by dialing relevant activation codes.

ROBI-logoFor 0.facebook.com, subscribers have to dial *8444*0# to get maximum 500 MB data per week to access Facebook for free through their browsers. 0.facebook is a text version of Facebook where users can comment, update statues, post likes and message other Facebook users.

Robi’s All Facebook pack, which is priced at BDT 4 for maximum 40 MB data with a 1 day validity will allow Robi subscriber to access mobile website of Facebook or the Facebook app on the their data enabled handset. This gives users access to the pictures and videos hosted on Facebook and let’s them interact with friends on the social media website. To activate this pack subscribers have to dial *8444*04#. The amount of BDT 4 plus VAT will be deducted from the Robi subscriber’s main account balance.

Robi has launched these products keeping in mind the changing behavior of its subscribers, who are becoming more and more internet savvy. Facebook is one of the most used website in Bangladesh and Robi feels that these products will be highly beneficial for its subscribers.

Robi’s Facebook packs are available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. Subscribers can use all mobile browsers including Opera Mini to avail any of these two products.
