Ghashful, a media house organized a seminar and cultural program on Bengali and English edition of Gitanjali, the masterpiece of Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of his Birth Anniversary at A.S. Mahmud Hall, Daily Star Center on Sunday (May 18, 2014).
Presided over by Emeritus Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman, the key note paper was presented by Professor Dr. Hayat Mamud and discussed by Ahmad Rafique, Rabindra specialist, Ali Ahmad, Literature and Translator, Professor Ferdous Azim, Chairperson, Department of English, BRAC University, Professor Harunuzzaman, Department of English, Independent University, Syed Badrul Ahsan, executive editor, Daily Star and Syed Zakir Hossain, Proprietor, Adorn Publications.
Artist Preeanka Goop performed the Rabindra song and Bhaswar Bandyopadhyay recited the poem. The program was anchored by Rabia Sultana Panna and Mahmudul Hasan Rubel.
