Member of sub-committee on Finance and Planning of Bangladesh Awami League Haseeb Alam Talukdar submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate for the Patuakhali-2 (Bauphal) constituency along with the party’s leaders and activists in the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election on Thursday. He appeared at the BauphalUpazilaNirbahi Officer’s office and submitted the nomination papers to the UpazilaNirbahi Officer, Assistant Returning Officer Md. Bashir Gazi. During the submission of the nomination papers, thousands of supporters from different areas of the upazila gathered. After filing the nomination papers, Haseeb Alam told reporters, “I am participating in the election as an independent candidate to reflect the wishes of the people of Bauphal and to repay the love.
