Renowned root excavating researcher and Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Mohammad Abdul Mannan received the ‘Nawab Bahadur Nawab Ali Chowdhury National Award 2014’ for his outstanding contributions to research on Bangladeshi History and Heritage.
Shri Biren Shikder, MP, State Minister for Youth and Sports handed over the award to him at a function at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka on 5 December 2014.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. Emajuddin Ahmed, former Vice Chancellor of the University along with other guests were present on the occasion organised by the Nawab Bahadur Syed Nawab Ali-Hasan Ali Foundation.
