Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has opened its 297th branch at Ati Bazar of Keraniganj, Dhaka.
Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS, director and chairman of the risk management committee of the bank inaugurated the branch as chief guest on Tuesday (August 25, 2015).
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director of the bank presided over the inaugural ceremony. Muhammad Abul Bashar, deputy managing director, Md. Obaidul Haque, executive vice president and head of Dhaka south zone, Md. Zakir Hossain, president, Ati Bazar traders’ association and Salahuddin, a businessman, among others, spoke on the occasion. Local traders, professionals and social elites were present in the opening session.
