Cox’s Bazar Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized a view exchange meeting of the members of Rural Development Scheme (RDS) in a local auditorium on December 11, 2016 Sunday.
Prof. Syed Ahsanul Alam, Chairman, Executive Committee of the bank addressed the meeting 
as chief guest. Presided over by Md. Motiar Rahman, Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong South Zone the executives and officials of the region attended the program. Center Leaders and 60 members of RDS participated the program.
Prof. Syed Ahsanul Alam said Islami Bank is conducting fact-based activities for upgrading the rural poor people. The bank has included 1 million marginal families of 20 thousand villages with the mainstream economy of the country through its RDS, he said. A numbers of measures have been taken for entrepreneurship development under RDS, he added. He directed the bank officials to bring the marginal people of the country under bank’s investment oriented financial inclusion.
