A delegation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh led by its President Showkat Hossain left Dhaka for Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday morning to join different SAFA meetings including SAFA Board, Assembly, different committees and task force meetings.
The other members of the delegation are Vice President Nasim Anwar FCA, Council Member and Past Presidents Abbas Uddin Khan FCA, Md. Syful Islam FCA, Md. Humayun Kabir FCA, M Farhad Hussain FCA, ASM Nayeem FCA and Council Member Md. Muhammad Farooq FCA.
They are expected to attend 30th South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Board Meeting, SAFA Assembly Meeting, SAFA Committee on Education, training & CPD, SAFA Committee on SMPs, SAFA Committee on ITAG, SAFA Committee on International Affairs, SAFA Task Force to develop Strategy to Combat Corruption in SAARC Region, SAFA Task Force to address Risk & Challenges to Accountancy Profession in SAFA Region, SAFA Task Force to Review the Existing Committee System and tenure of President and Vice-President of SAFA on 20-22 January 2014.
