Recently Jamuna Bank received first insurance claim cheque from MicroEnsure against death of its two credit card holders under its Protection Plus Service. Protection Plus is the first ever unique service in Bangladesh to provide insurance facility for both debit and credit card of Jamuna Bank. In this product ITCL, MicroEnsure and Pragati Life Insurance are in partnership with Jamuna Bank . Deputy Managing Director of the Bank A.K.M. Saifuddin Ahamed received the cheque to settle the liability of the deceased. In the program Adnan Mahmud , AVP and 
Head of Cards from Jamuna Bank, Mir Rashedul Hossain, Country Manager of MicroEnsure, Zubair Ahmed, Head of Business Development from ITCL, S.M. Ziaul Haque, GM of Pragati Life Insurance were also present.
