Jamuna Bank Ltd (JBL) passed a hurdle and successfully migrate its core Database to Oracle 19c. Jamuna Bank is the 1st Bank of Bangladesh to migrate it for its CBS system. With this upgrade Jamuna Bank is one step ahead to provide better service to its customer.
To celebrate the success, Oracle officials and Jamuna Bank high officials jointly arranged a ceremony at Jamuna Bank Head office. The ceremony was presided over by the honourable Managing Director of Jamuna Bank’s Mr Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed and among others DMD and CBO Mohammed Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, DMD and CITO A.K.M. Atiqur Rahman and Head of ICT Division Mr Syeed Zahid Hossain were present. Also present were Mrs Rubaba Dowla, Country Managing Director of Oracle Bangladesh Ltd, Mr Arshad Parvez, Country Director, Technology & Cloud Platform Bangladesh & Growth Economies and Mrs Joya as part of the celebration.
