The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry today recommended launching e-tendering for all tenders process to ensure transparency and make the process easy.
The committee made the recommendation in its 13th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its chairman Alhaj M Dabirul Islam in the chair, a press release said.
Committee members Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Kamal Ahmed Majumder, A K M Fazlul Haque, Abu Saleh Mohammad Sayeed (Dulal) and Begum Noor-E-Hasna Lily Chowdhury attended the meeting.
The committee discussed on the allocation of plots and flats
under different projects during the last five years.
Among others, secretary of the ministry and senior officials of parliamentary secretariat were also present.
