Lafarge Surma Cement Limited today distributed essential food items among the flood affected community people of Chhatak in Sunamganj.
Mr. Arifuzzaman, UNO, Chhatak handed over the food items to 230 families at the Community 
Development Center of the plant. Mr. Ashek Suja Mamun, OC, Chhatak Police Station, Mr. Harpal Singh, Acting Plant Manager, Shaikh Md. Abul Kalam, Stakeholder Relations Manager and Nafeez Imtiaz Karim, Communication & PR of Lafarge Surma Cement were present along with the community leaders.
Each family received 10 kg rice, 10 kg daal, 2 kg potatoes, 1 kg onions, 1 kg salt & 1 liter oil as relief material.
