Mr. Mohamed Abdul Baree FCA (Enrollment No-482), Past President of the Institute & partner of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants passed away on 11 June 2015 at United Hospital, Dhaka (Innah Lillahe … Rajeun). He was 70.
Late Mr. Baree was a teacher of University of Dhaka in 1970s and National
University of Singapore in 1980s. He was a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), UK and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
One of the senior most outstanding Chartered Accountants of the country, late Mohamed Abdul Baree had been in the Council of ICAB for many years and was the President of ICAB in 2002.Formally; he was a Partner of Rahman Rahman Huq & Co., Chartered Accountants.
He has left behind his wife, son and daughter to mourn his death. A Doa and Milad Mafil was held at Baridhara Mosque on Sunday, 14 June 2014 for seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
