Pubali Bank Ltd (PBL) Board of Directors has elected M. Azizul Huq as Audit Committee Chairman, M. Kabiruzzaman Yaqub FCMA (UK), CGMA as Risk Management Committee Chairman, Md. Abdur Razzak Mondal as Executive Committee Chairman and Dr. Shahdeen Malik as Nomination & Remuneration Committee Chairman in its 1247th Board Meeting.
Mr. M. Azizul Huq obtained his MA degree in Economics from Dhaka University. He has long 62 years’ experience in banking career. He started his banking career in 1958 as a Probationary Officer with Habib Bank Ltd., Pakistan. Mr. Huq had the rare opportunity of working successively as Founder CEO of Islami Bank BD Ltd., 
Social Investment Bank Ltd. and Islamic Finance and Investment Ltd. In 2005 when the Central Shariah Board of Islamic Banks of Bangladesh introduced the prestigious Annual Islamic Banking Award, Mr. Huq was the first person to receive the award. He was Independent Director and Vice-Chairman of Islami Bank BD Ltd. till 05.01.2017.
Mr. M. Kabiruzzaman Yaqub FCMA (UK), CGMA has been serving as a Director in Pubali Bank Ltd. since long. He was a member of Audit Committee. He has been serving as a member of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee. Mr. Yaqub completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from United Kingdom. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accounts (UK). He has 31 years of multifarious experiences in various organizations. He is the Chairman of Imagine Properties Ltd. and also a Director of Pubali Bank Securities Ltd. He is an active member and former President of Gulshan Rotary Club, Bangladesh. He engages himself in various humanitarian activities.
Mr. Md. Abdur Razzak Mondal is a Director of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd. He was also a member of Audit Committee & Risk Management Committee of the bank. He has been serving as a member of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the bank. He has long 45 years’ experience in his career. He is a nominee of That’s It Fashions Ltd. He engages himself in various humanitarian activities. Mr. Mondal obtained his MBA Degree from IBA of Dhaka University.
Mr. Dr. Shahdeen Malik has been practicing in Supreme Court of Bangladesh for long. Moreover, he had taught Law at Dhaka University and BRAC University. He is an Independent Director in the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd and Pubali Bank Securities Ltd. Mr. Malik obtained his PhD in Law from London, UK and LLM degree from Universities at Moscow & Philadelphia. He has long 32 years’ experience in his career.
