A workshop entitled “Core Risk in Banking” was held recently under the auspices of Pubali Bank Training Institute with participation of 29 (Twenty Nine) officers and executives .
In the concluding ceremony, Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury graced the occasion as chief guest. While Niranjan Chandra Gope, Head of Training of Pubali Bank Training Institute, presided over the function and Nitish Kumar Roy, DGM, ICC was also present on the occasion.
In his speech Honorable Chief Guest Helal Ahmed Chowdhury said, “ICC , AML and IT are the main risks which Bangladesh Bank considers as core risks in banking.” He made a clarion call on all attending participants to foster new spirit and enthusiasm for achieving our Bank’s mission and vision. He reiterated on the challenging tasks for all for ensuring profitability and strength of the bank. He put forward his views on being compliant bank making our position excellent and super. He made a call to them to make all-out efforts to reduce classification of loan, to avert malpractices and to arrest mismanagement in the operational activities of the bank with a view to maintaining efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects. In fine, he made instruction to all to acquire knowledge, develop skills and change attitudes for harnessing new ideas for making our dreams into action.
Later, he planted Flower-Tree on the approach of the Training Institute building and inaugurated a Flower-Garden in a festive gesture. He expressed his thanks and best wishes to all.
