Pubali Bank Ltd is organising different training workshops regularly for the Officials to make well trained and skilled bankers. State Minister for Ministry of Finance and Planning, MA Mannan MP was present as Chief Guest at the orientation program of a workshop on Credit Risks Management (CRM), Refresher Course for Deputy Managers of Branches and International Trade Payment and Finance recently held at Bank’s Auditorium recenly.
The program was organised by Pubali Bank Training Institute(PBTI). Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, Chairman of Pubali Bank Ltd. and Dr. M. Enamul Hoque, Retd. IGP and Former Member of Law Commission were present as Guest of Honor. Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank Ltd. presided over the program.
Directors of Pubali Bank Board of Directors Moniruddin Ahmed, Syed Moazzem Hussain, Azizur Rahman and Former Director of Pubali Bank Ltd. Monzurur Rahman were present as Special Guests.

In his speech Chief Guest M.A. Mannan MP said, “The achievement of Bangladesh in the economic sector after independence is not negligible by any means. Our country will be in good position in world economy if the achieved success continues. And then the vast manpower of the country will play an important role.” Honorable Minister of State urged all organizations to work in a planned way to make skilled manpower.
In his speech Guest of Honor Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder urged everyone to work sincerely and honestly in competitive banking activities. He said themselves to be responsible and advised to earn global knowledge. He asked the officers to equip themselves with modern technology if they want to give proper banking service to the customers.
In his speech Helal Ahmed Chowdhury urged all officers to work sincerely and honestly. He advised everyone to equip themselves with diversified banking knowledge to cope with present competitive global market. He also added that one can become a successful banker by exploring skills and talents at the highest level through applying himself properly. He advised all officers to abide by the rules and regulations of Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies since Pubali is a very compliant bank. We are trying so that the Internal Control & Compliance, Risk Management and Information Technology Division of the bank can be more strong. Pubali Bank Ltd. is firmly determined to make skilled manpower, he added.
Additional Managing Director of Pubali Bank M. A. Halim Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury, General Managers of Head Office and Senior Executives of Pubali Bank were also present in the program. Niranjan Chandra Gope, Head of Training of Pubali Bank Training Institute delivered the welcome speech.
