PVH delegation visits Beximco Industrial Park

PVH Group President Marc Schneider along with other top officials of PVH visited Beximco Industrial Park recently. Beximco Group Chairman A.S. F. Rahman and Group Director and CEO Syed Naved Husain welcomed the PVH delegation at the industrial park.

Matthew Wallace, SVP, Wholesale Sourcing, David Kroll, Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Alok Malhotra, Hub Leader, Indian Sub-Continent, Nitin Prasad, Director, Raymond McNutt, QA Director, Najeeb Sayed, Director of PVH were also visited Industrial Park, says a press release.

PhotoPVH is one of the oldest (since1881) and largest branded life style apparel companies in the world with a diversified portfolio of iconic apparel brands including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Hausen, Izod, Arrow and Speedo.

The PVH delegation also visited many of Beximco’s vertical Textile facilities which employ over 35,000 people and produce and ship 110 million pieces of garments annually. They were very impressed by the world class production facilities, Green Infrastructure, and strong R&D and product development resources, Beximco has managed to put in place at the 350 Acre Beximco Industrial Park.

Both companies are working closely to expand and optimize the 16 year old partnership which started in 1998, and see huge opportunities to leverage each others strengths to reap enormous mutual benefits.

Beximco, PVH and Save the children have also partnered in Bangladesh to establish and run 3 schools, where underprivileged children are enrolled. BEXIMCO Group Chairman A.S. F. Rahman, Group Director and CEO Syed Naved Husain and Marketing Director A.S. Rahman attended a high profile, New York City, Gala Event, which was hosted by Save the Children and Calvin Klein. Many influential and famous US personalities attended this event, including Former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, PVH Chairman and CEO Emanuel “Manny” Chirico, US actor Jennifer Garner, Former US First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager, Former US First Daughter Caroline Kennedy and Save the Children President and CEO Carolyn Miles.
