RU BCL submits 4-point demands

Bangladesh Chattro League Rajshahi University unit submitted a memorandum to the university Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Mizanuddin demanding four points including withdrawal of three leaders’ studentship ban. They submitted the memorandum to the vice chancellor at his office on Saturday at 12 pm.

The four demands were — cancelling the expulsion order of their three fellows, ensuring punishment and expelled Shibir cadres who were involved in Faruk murder 2010, withdrawing ruof false cases those impose upon general student from time to time and providing punishment and compensation of the Shibir cadres who cut off BCL activist’s tendons of hands and legs.

The expelled three leaders were – the then general secretary of BCL RU Unit SM Touhid Al Hasan Tuhin, vice president Tonmoy Anondo Ovi and president of Shahid Hobibur Rahman Hall unit SM Mamunur Rashid.

The memorandum also sent to the vice-chancellor, treasure, student adviser and public relation office of Rajshahi University.

After submitting the memorandum the president of BCL RU unit declared mass sign campaign which will hold 11 April at 10am on the premises of Rajshahi University Central Library demanding studentship of three ban leaders.

BCL RU unit’s vice president Anika Fariha Jaman Arna, President of Rajshahi Metropolitan Chattro League Roky Kumar Gosh, general secretary Mahmudul Hasan Rajib, RU BCL unit’s acting president Rashedul Islam Ranju, general secretary Khalid Hasan Biplob, join secretary Golam Kibria and organizing secretary Faisal Ahmed Runu addressed among others.
