Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management hosted a seminar on IEC 61439 at a local hotel recently. The event was graced by 400 plus guests from end user segments, specifiers, and professors of prominent universities of Bangladesh. IEC 61439 is a new standard for safe and reliable low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies by International Electro technical Commission.
The overall standard was presented by Mr. Kiran Lagwankar, GM – Prescription, SE India whereas Mr. Nicolas Gauthray, EMEA Installation Systems & CTO – REU Busways Tendering Team Manager, SE France and Mr. Ashok Menghani, GM – Channel Development, SE India presented how SE Busway – Canalis and Universal Enclosure – iPrisma adhere to this series respectively.
The customers networked with the SE team and took keen interest in the demos that were organized for them.
Concluding the seminar, Mr. Kiran Lagwankar, GM – Prescription, Schneider Electric India said, “The new standard will improve the pore safety and the performance of assemblies on the and it will offer level playing field amongst the manufacturers and assemblers“.
